Challenges

Lack of funds to buy, transport & process the honey. From Rukiga district, nationally and internationally to make sure that everyone has access to high quality raw honey with no additives or any preservatives.
The funds to train the local beekeepers about about modern practices of beekeeping, and introduce more locals to bee keeping mostly promoting Women In Agriculture (WIA) mission, to empower more women generate household income from Beekeeping.
Modern beehives are very efficient in the modern beekeeping sector but the hives are expensive, and since locals can't afford them and we want to offer them an opportunity for them to start using them and in the due course as the household income increases they can afford them for themselves.
Transportation costs for even reaching more remote areas in Rukiga District, to teach the locals, on how to leverage the opportunity they've of the landscape to use it to their own advantage by beekeeping thus increase their household income hence improved quality of life.
